My Passion!

Be A Do – Gooder!

Quite simply,  I love to L-O-V-E.

Love is an action word and I stand on two Bible verses in my quest to express the Love of God I have to others.

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also. I John 4:20-21 KJV

If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails… I Corinthians 13 3-8 NIV

To participate in charitable works but have no love behind it, makes the act in vain. For this reason, I always encourage people to participate in causes that they care about. My cause and your cause may be different; but when we give our whole heart to giving of our time, talents and/or treasure to those areas our impact to each cause will be great. I encourage you to get involved today.

What am I passionate about you may ask?

In my life, mentoring transformed me into the Chanceé Lundy that most people know today. While admittedly I had a brief period of rebellion, I wasn’t a very unruly child; yet, I lacked guidance on navigating beyond the circumstances of my small town and my neighborhood. I was blessed with a mentor who took a keen interest in my development. She took me on trips with her and to business meetings as I became more self-aware and socially conscious. She helped me navigate through the challenging teen years and for that  I am grateful. As she did for me, I will continue to pay it forward and become a positive motivating force in someone else’s life.

Many people make choices in life because they don’t have real examples of the alternatives that exist. I am passionate about being exposed and exposing others to new opportunities, experiences, beliefs, cultures and travels. As I continue to grow and develop, I realize that there is still much that I do not know. I am a continuous learner. I love to learn and I love to teach others.

Self Development
Are you satisfied with your current self? Being a continuous learner, means that I often evaluate my personal and professional development. There are areas in my life where I am always seeking to improve such as health, finances, and relationships. There are also personal and professional areas where I can share such as sustainability, self-love, leadership, and mentoring. Recognizing the areas I need to improve and helping others improve are pivotal in my journey of self development.
